Befeler Group, through an affiliate, acquired this garden-type 28-unit apartment complex in West Hialeah, Miami-Dade County within walking distance to Palmetto General Hospital, one of the largest hospitals in Miami-Dade County, and ten-minutes driving distance to Miami International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the world. The property sits within the urban core in one of the highest demand rental areas in Miami and serves mostly hospital and airport-related personnel and their families. When Befeler Group acquired the property, it was undermanaged and in need of repositioning. Befeler Group immediately repositioned, remodeled, and upgraded the property. Rents were increased by approximately 15%, and the property has since been consistently 100% leased and performing well.
